what we do
We’re a group of independent renewable energy developers who believe that collaboration can amplify our impact. The Indie Dev Collective (IDC) is a developer-led alliance that brings together experienced professionals across the renewable energy industry to work smarter, move faster, and unlock greater value – together. Each of us brings a unique perspective, whether it’s in origination, permitting, interconnection, engineering, or strategy. By connecting these strengths, we create opportunities that are greater than the sum of their parts.Through the Collective, we combine project pipelines to achieve portfolio scale, share high-quality legal and technical resources, and coordinate at key moments to engage capital partners on stronger terms. Our collaboration allows us to navigate complexity more efficiently, access diverse insights across markets and technologies, and build lasting relationships that extend beyond individual deals.Participation is flexible. Every developer manages their own projects and chooses how they engage. The strength of the model lies in its simplicity: experienced developers coming together to support each other’s success. We’re building a trusted network of peers who value independence, expertise, and the power of working together. If that sounds like you, we’d love to connect.
